Driving north on highway three ninety-five
Ten hours down and ten to go
Listening to Django and shaking my head
Dodging deer in the headlights like a pro

Let the healing waters soothe your soul
Let the desert sun light your way
Let the sound of the fighter planes rock you to sleep
Let the Saline Valley winds blow your troubles away

Terry Kramer is moving to Montana
Gonna start his life anew
He’s leaving Paisley tomorrow morning
Not sure exactly what he’ll do

Pumpin’ gas with a cigarette in his hand
Says he’s got a chance to make a buck
From logs to live fish to firewater
There ain’t nothing he can’t truck
